By car
On A1 follow the direction to St.Gallen. Take exit "Kreuzbleiche" (right after a
long bridge). In the tunnel take the left lane, direction "Zentrum". When
leaving the tunnel, take the extreme left lane and drive straight ahead
(Rosenbergstrasse). At the third traffic light, after 400 meters, turn left and
follow the sign "WBZ/ Universität". Park on the parking lot of the university or
nearby. There are not many parking lots available, and they cost Fr. 1.50 per
hour. The parking lot at the Curtistrasse (on the map to the right) is reserved
for university employees. Congress participants may only use the parking lot at
the Varnbühlstrasse (on the map upper left). The congress site is in the B-Building (the library building
"Bibliotheksgebäude") – have a look at the map
(Kongressort/Place de congrès).
By bus
All the trains from Zurich arrive every 7 minutes before the hour and every 15
minutes after the hour (e.g. 10:53 o’clock or 10:15 o’clock). In front of the
railway station take Bus Line 5 direction “Rotmonten” and leave the bus at Bus
Stop “Universität” (University). The bus leaves every 10 minutes. It will take
you 5 minutes to the bus stop „Universität“. Please, look at the bus schedule
below. After you left the bus, cross the street and just follow the signs: first
to the left along Dufourstrasse, then up the first street to the right
(Curtistrasse), which leads you to the entrance of the Congress Site (B-Building,
Bibliotheksgebäude) – have a look at the map
(Kongressort/place de congrès).
